Silver: 12.65/oz, down.
Gold: 911.40/oz, down.
Rhodium: 1285/oz. No change.
This is a good thing.
When precious metals go down, it means the dollar is stronger. It is also a good indicator as to the trends of other commodities, such as oil.
Rhodium, the most volatile of all precious metals, hit ten thousand an ounce around this time last year. This year it's chugging along at its normal historical value.
The numbers aren't QUITE what we'd like, but they're definitely backing away from the abyss.
I'm hoping to see a trend with gas prices falling, as well.
